re all: well-a, ya know i am a big fan of Firefly so i wanted to do something along those lines, the fun adventure of a band of outlaw misfits across different planets. Essentially what garden of hearts was meant to be so you'd get a very Nirin-like main character and I was thinking about bringing Skylar back.

The faux-victorian story by contrast is much darker and emo-gothicky. It's more of a mystery/horror/supernatural crime thing...Sweeney Todd style with magic n stuff. The main characters look like younger versions of the judge and the aunt here but they are quite different in character. He's not psychotic and she's totally snarky and amoral.

So the scifi thing is actually cuter than the victorian one, who'da thunk it eh? ;)

@JigokuNeko: Victorian. Always victorian. Victorian all the way.

About the space-opera option... you are going to tell the story of so many characters?
Wouldn't that mean a LOT more pages than tnd ?
Liked firefly myself (sci-fi/space opera freak) but the analogy would be 1 episode per comic chapter....

Just don't want to see another space opera webcomic dropped by the creator :(

On the other hand the faux-victorian story seems a lot easier to develop/control.
